- 1 lb/450 gms minced pork
- 1 lb/450 gms minced beef
- 6 cloves of garlic, smashed and chopped
- 1 teaspoon nutmeg (!)
- Gluten free flour if necessary – eg rice flour, corn flour, garam flour.
- 10 ground peppercorns
- 3 tablespoons finely chopped onion
- 2 beaten eggs
- Salt or fish sauce to taste
- Chopped coriander leaves
- Oil – olive or clarified butter.
Serves 8.
- Pound the garlic and peppercorns to a paste. I cannot handle garlic, so I would substitute grated ginger.
- Combine all the ingredients, mix well and form into meat balls.
- Thinly coat with the flour if needed.
- Fry them in a frying pan until cooked through.
- Serve with rice and extra coriander.
