I sell Poliquin brand Melatonin in two sizes: 3mg and 10 mg. They also do a 20mg pill size which I can easily get hold of. The 3mg costs £14.75 for 60 capsules, 10mg £20.50 for 60 capsules. Contact me through this site to buy some. I have tried the Biovea brand and it just isn’t as effective – and I don’t know why! ((Ingredients: Melatonin 3mg or 10 mg per capsule. Other ingredients: Rice powder, vegetable cellulose capsule and Ascorbyl Palmitate.)) The footnote gives the ingredients.
For the seasonsed insomniac, melatonin can be a life saver. I always recommend starting with Ubermag, which considerably improves sleep quality. But for some of us, to achieve regular refreshing nights of sleep, the addition of a little melatonin can work wonders. As we age, our internal production of melatonin sinks along with everything else, it seems.
I also recommend starting with 3 mg of melatonin and building the dose up to find the one that works best. If we take too much, we feel very groggy during the day, then perk up considerably late afternoon/early evening.
Melatonin also works well for those that fly across the time zones. Taking a dose of melatonin with dinner will help us wind down so we get into the new time zone rhythm quickly.
